Description

Lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and audit basis of design, construction specifications, drawings, 3D models, and system study reports.
• Perform short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct value engineering to maintain system functionality while optimizing costs.
• Execute technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Review field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations to ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power for system analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical material clearly to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
