Description

You will own the full lifecycle of new product design and development, from initial concept through to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design end items and components, developing PCB layouts with a strong focus on signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
• Write and maintain product firmware in C.
• Build custom testing systems and execute comprehensive hardware validation, including functional, performance, and environmental testing.
• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize designs for quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in electronics design, testing, and firmware development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in analog design and hands-on experience with digital design.
• Embedded programming experience using C.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment including DMM, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies.
• Ability to develop design requirement specifications, test plans, and technical data sheets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microchip, STMicro, or TI microprocessors.
• Knowledge of wireless sensor communication such as BLE or IoT.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
