Description

Lead electronics design for battery lines from initial scoping through mass production launch.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities including requirement documentation, topology selection, component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Manage the full development lifecycle including prototype builds, firmware coding, and test plan execution.
• Research and engage with suppliers to select new technologies such as Lithium-Ion Battery Management ASICs, microcontrollers, and power devices.
• Debug and develop designs using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, and ESD/EMC tools.
• Create work breakdown structures to drive projects toward critical milestones and resolve design barriers.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in circuit board level design.
• 2+ years of experience in product development with a track record of moving products to production.
• Proficiency in PCB layout and schematic capture.
• Experience with embedded design, including working with transistors, capacitors, and microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience with firmware coding.
• Knowledge of Lithium-Ion Battery Management.
• Ability to use data acquisition systems and analysis software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lithium-Ion Battery Management ASICs.
