Description

Lead electrical design projects through their full lifecycle, from conceptual phases to completion. Own the technical direction for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments, ensuring alignment with budget, design, and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept to completion, adapting plans to meet project constraints.
• Manage equipment procurement by preparing specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid summaries.
• Execute quality reviews of production drawings, calculations, and field inspections to ensure compliance.
• Direct project execution by managing change orders, developing schedules, and coordinating with field personnel.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance while ensuring QA/QC adherence.

Required Skills

• 7 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Expert knowledge of electrical equipment design, ANSI, and IEEE Standards.
• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience leading discipline design for large projects and delegating tasks.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, production drawings, and cost estimates.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for field inspections and client needs.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• EPC project experience.
