Description

You will develop and maintain embedded control systems for multi-degree-of-freedom robotics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new trajectories for multi-degree-of-freedom robotics systems.
• Develop major functional and performance enhancements for existing embedded control software.
• Coordinate object-oriented software design and participate in code reviews.
• Create software requirements specifications, design documents, and functional specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues by working directly with hardware products in a lab environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
• Experience with embedded motion controls and trajectory generation.
• Proficiency in writing software requirements specifications and design documents.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware.
• Background in object-oriented software design.
• Ability to implement extensions and error corrections in existing controls software.

Preferred Skills

• DSP programming for control systems.
• Modeling and development of control systems.
• Familiarity with cubic and higher spline motion trajectories, such as quintic splines.
