Description

You will design and develop software for multi-degree-of-freedom robotics and embedded control systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional and performance enhancements for existing embedded control systems.
• Create new trajectories for multi-degree-of-freedom robotics systems.
• Participate in object-oriented software design and code reviews.
• Develop software requirements, design documents, and functional specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues by working directly with hardware products in a lab environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Experience with embedded control systems.
• Experience in embedded motion controls and trajectory generation.
• Ability to modify existing controls software to correct errors or add features.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• DSP programming for control systems.
• Modeling and development of control systems.
• Familiarity with cubic and higher spline motion trajectories, such as quintic splines.
