Description

You will own the architecture, design, prototyping, and development of embedded device software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C and C++.
• Conduct code reviews and implement unit tests for device firmware.
• Implement and manage Linux subsystems and device drivers.
• Design and implement IPC and RPC mechanisms for system communication.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Expert proficiency in C and modern C++ (C++11/C++14/C++17).
• Strong knowledge of embedded Linux and BSPs.
• Proficiency with C++ build processes and Makefiles.
• Solid understanding of Linux application fundamentals (stdio, signals, command line).
• Expertise in multithreading and complex algorithms.
• Foundational knowledge of IPC and RPC (client-server, P2P, pub/sub).
• Familiarity with HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, and Flatbuffers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flatbuffers and Protobufs serialization.
• Background in designing robust communication protocols.
