Description

You will lead the design and implementation of BSP solutions for embedded real-time systems running Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BSP solutions, including bootloaders, kernels, and rootfs, for real-time hardware.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary product design team as a Scrum Master.
• Develop high-quality C/C++ software to solve real-time processing problems.
• Build and maintain software design toolchains using modern development practices.
• Oversee all phases of the SDLC and product development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience developing firmware or software for embedded products.
• Extensive experience with C/C++ development and debugging on embedded devices.
• Proficiency in Linux driver and kernel development toolchains, including GCC and Buildroot.
• Experience with embedded middleware and firmware for ARM9A8A15 or similar microprocessors and SoCs.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols including Ethernet, TCP, UDP, and IEEE 1588.
• Knowledge of network and OS security approaches and strategies.
• Strong understanding of hardware and IPC mechanisms.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AGL, Automotive, or IoT product development.
• Knowledge of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT or AMQP.
• Experience with CAN communication diagnostics and middleware for IoT Edge Gateways.
