Description

You will own the development and optimization of embedded systems code, translating Python electromagnetic field computations into efficient C++.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Python code for electromagnetic field computations and translate it into efficient C++.
• Implement and optimize computational algorithms for multidimensional data analysis to improve performance.
• Optimize computations to meet real-time processing demands on embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy during code conversion and implementation.
• Document code and processes for future maintenance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience at a Senior or Principal level in embedded systems.
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms.
• Experience optimizing algorithms for resource-constrained embedded targets for real-time processing.
• Experience with DSP hardware and software tools, including target debugging.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Expertise with C++ mathematical libraries for linear algebra (matrices, vectors, solvers).
• Strong understanding of C++ development alongside Python.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, DSP processors, and FPGA interfacing.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Background in physics or electrical engineering focusing on electromagnetic fields.
• Experience with SDLC in a regulated environment.
