Description

You will design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems and IoT devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
• Perform board bring-up for ARM, MIPS, Intel, or PowerPC architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless component integration.
• Build testing infrastructure to minimize dependency on physical hardware availability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software design cycles and microcontroller/microprocessor systems.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS concepts including HAL, scheduling, and thread synchronicity.
• Proficiency with hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, LIN, and TCP/IP.
• Solid understanding of ARM-based interrupt architecture (e.g., STM32, LPC).
• Experience with protocol debugging using JTAG or oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read schematics and understand hardware design around ST, TI, Atmel, or ARM cores.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Zigbee.
