Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and debugging of a mature embedded firmware codebase written in C++ and C.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support real-time 2–3 axis motor control functionality.
• Configure, calibrate, and optimize embedded systems for various hardware platforms.
• Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot CAN bus communication protocols.
• Perform board bring-up, peripheral integration, and firmware debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and regulatory artifacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience working with RTOS-based embedded applications.
• Strong understanding of motor control algorithms and microcontrollers (specifically K61).
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and peripheral integration.
• Ability to diagnose hardware-software interaction issues.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware debugging tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Experience ensuring firmware meets safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
