Description

Develop, validate, and maintain software for new product introductions in an embedded Linux environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute software solutions for new technology and product introduction projects.
• Validate new software features and debug test failures to determine root causes and resolve design defects.
• Collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers within a feature team.
• Build and maintain requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and test specs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong programming background in C/C++.
• Experience with Linux, Embedded Systems, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency in firmware development and modern concurrent programming/threading APIs in Linux.
• Familiarity with ARM architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and Perl.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
