Description

You will lead manual testing efforts for embedded consumer products, focusing on hardware-software integration and system-level reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory testing on high-risk system areas to identify defects.
• Write and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases.
• Verify features using white-box and black-box methodologies to determine root causes.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware integration issues.
• Train the testing team and collaborate with project managers and product owners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded product testing.
• Experience testing consumer electronics and hardware/software integration.
• Proficiency in manual testing execution and test plan creation.
• Ability to troubleshoot data communication, sensor readings, and system performance.
• Strong understanding of large-scale system architecture and failure modes.
• Knowledge of operating system fundamentals and software test engineering principles.
• Experience with functional API testing.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile workflows.
• Python scripting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bluetooth protocol knowledge.
• Automation testing experience.
