Description

You will lead the full lifecycle of embedded software projects for aerospace applications, from initial concept through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage project lifecycles including planning, timelines, budgets, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers to define requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and participate in product certification activities.
• Communicate project status to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in project engineering of complex projects.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and assembly language.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux platforms.
• Strong understanding of embedded software development tools and debugging techniques.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues in embedded systems.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to travel locally to customer sites several days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of aerospace regulatory standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Experience in regulated industries or engineering outsourcing practices.
