Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer

You will develop control algorithms and motion control logic for heavy vehicles within an international automotive R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for vehicle decision-making and motion control.
• Design high-level strategies and control logic to enable targeted customer features.
• Write and manage technical requirements, use cases, and test cases across different levels.
• Perform troubleshooting and system integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software or related fields.
• Proficiency in C++ and embedded systems development.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
• Knowledge of Sensor Fusion and signal processing.
• Understanding of control systems, filter design, and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with software architecture and embedded software development.
• Familiarity with Agile development and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and ISO 26262.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering, Signal Processing, Electronics, or a similar field.
