Description

You will design and implement software to control hardware systems and manage hardware-software integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software for hardware control.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
• Debug and optimize existing code to improve performance and reliability.
• Support the integration of software with hardware components.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5-15 years of experience in embedded engineering, automation, or instrumentation working on non-compute hardware.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Core Java, and C#.Net.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Mandatory experience with OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process programming.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing desktop-based applications.
• Familiarity with cross-language interface protocols such as CORBA, Apache Thrift, or gRPC.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
