Description

You will design and implement cybersecurity controls and new features for processors and microcontrollers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with stakeholders and design feature implementations with minimal oversight.
• Research novel cybersecurity features and develop proof-of-concepts for supplier implementation.
• Develop software following MISRA, SEI CERT, and AUTOSAR standards.
• Collaborate with CI/CD and test teams to enhance build pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead internal testing teams when required.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in embedded systems software development.
• Expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Extensive experience with Embedded Linux, including driver development, BSP integration, and Yocto.
• Strong knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience with board bring-up and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as LabVIEW and JTAG.
• Fluency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for technical and business discussions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with secure boot, TrustZone, and filesystem encryption.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, or OWASP.
