Description

You will design and implement bare metal embedded systems for motor control and battery-powered applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers using C, C++, or Assembly.
• Implement closed-loop control and feedback systems for AC and BLDC motors, including sensored and sensorless trapezoidal control.
• Debug embedded code using in-circuit debuggers and hardware tools.
• Interface with overseas electronic contract manufacturers to provide technical direction for electronics assemblies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in bare metal embedded system design.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Assembly (ASM).
• Experience with ARM architectures.
• Deep understanding of RTOS, hard real-time processing, and process scheduling.
• Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals including timers, GPIO, watchdog, ADC, UART, and DMA.
• Familiarity with interrupt processing, cooperative multitasking, and managing race conditions.
• Experience with lithium-ion battery powered systems.
• Competency in static analysis, distributed version control, unit testing, and bug tracking.
• Experience working within Agile or Waterfall development processes.
