Description

You will own the testing and automation strategy for low power, high reliability industrial process control devices.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop test automation to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Write manual and automated test procedures for industrial control features.
• Champion team members to deliver quality products.
• Collaborate across Firmware, Electrical, and Mechanical teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Log, track, and investigate defects to determine root cause within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in Embedded Development and/or Embedded Test Development.
• Expertise in C# and a working knowledge of C/C++.
• Basic understanding of software test methodologies (Regression, functional, unit, black/white box).
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and circuit analysis.
• Ability to understand basic mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control (Git or Mercurial).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of control systems and/or process control environments.
• Familiarity with CI tools like TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Experience with ARM embedded processor platforms.
