Description

You will define and develop test automation to improve efficiency and coverage for low-power, high-reliability industrial process control devices. You will write manual and automated test procedures, investigate defects to determine root causes, and monitor and enhance the automated test infrastructure. You will collaborate with firmware, electrical, and mechanical teams to facilitate a cohesive environment and maintain work item backlogs in an Agile setting. You will also read, interpret, and implement engineering and industry standards while performing necessary project documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, debug, and enhance automated test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of embedded development and/or embedded test development experience.
• Expertise in C# and working knowledge of C/C++.
• Knowledge of software test methodologies (regression, functional, unit, black box, white box).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and circuit analysis.
• Ability to understand basic mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed version control (Mercurial, Git).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (TeamCity, Jenkins).
• Experience with ARM embedded processor platforms and industrial protocols (HART, Modbus, etc.).
