Description

You will own the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of the enterprise Jamf Pro environment, serving as the primary Subject Matter Expert for macOS endpoint engineering.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Phase 1 deployment of Jamf-managed MacBook devices to replace VDI, ensuring seamless user experience and device health.
  • Architect and document Jamf infrastructure, including network security flows, SSO/LDAP integrations, and automation pipelines.
  • Package, deploy, and troubleshoot applications on macOS endpoints, resolving Tier 3 runtime and performance issues.
  • Build custom Bash scripts and leverage the Jamf API to automate endpoint management and remediation.
  • Produce weekly reports on patch compliance, software utilization, and user behavior trends while mentoring team members.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of total experience in desktop engineering or end-user computing roles.
  • 3+ years managing macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment using Jamf Pro.
  • 3+ years of experience with Bash scripting and the Jamf API.
  • Hands-on administration of Jamf Connect, Jamf Protect, Jamf Infrastructure Manager, and Jamf ADCS Connect.
  • Experience integrating Jamf with SSO, LDAP, Cloud Identity Providers, and SMTP.
  • Proven ability to operate in a DevOps culture with a focus on automation and self-service solutions.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) experience.
  • Jamf 400 Certification.
