Description

You will own the carrier-grade data mediation platform, designing and operating high-throughput pipelines for telecom data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core mediation services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, focusing on Kafka integration and batch processing.
• Design scalable architectures for ingesting, transforming, and routing CDRs, UDRs, and event streams, including binary ASN.1 parsing.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift, managing Helm charts, scaling, and upgrade strategies.
• Implement production-grade observability and SRE practices, including SLO definition, incident response, and auto-remediation.
• Tune Oracle SQL/PLSQL schemas and optimize JVM, Kafka, and file I/O performance for high-volume metadata processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot (Integration, Batch).
• Hands-on experience with Golang.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Experience with Apache Kafka at scale, including partitioning, consumer tuning, and dead letter handling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle database tuning.
• Familiarity with ELK/EFK, Prometheus, and Grafana for observability.
• Understanding of Logback and logging standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with telecom mediation workflows and ASN.1 data formats.
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in mentoring engineers and leading design reviews.
