Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems for high-throughput, low-latency event-driven architectures.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Lead optimization of Kafka configurations, including topic design, partitioning, and consumer group management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across backend services and Kafka message processing.
• Conduct code reviews, design discussions, and drive best practices for CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong experience building production-grade systems with Python.
• Deep understanding of Kafka in high-scale production environments (clusters, message processing, schema management).
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams and setting technical direction.
