Description

You will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems for distributed, event-driven architectures.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Optimize Kafka configurations, including topic design, partitioning, and consumer group management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across backend services and Kafka processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for production-grade systems.
• Deep understanding of Kafka in high-scale production environments.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend services.
