Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test coverage for RIP and OSPF protocol functionality across enterprise and carrier networking scenarios.
• Validate routing behavior, protocol interoperability, and regression coverage for network software releases.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using TCL, Perl, Python, or Ruby to support protocol verification.
• Use network test equipment such as SmartBits, Spirent TestCenter, and Ixia for protocol and traffic validation.
• Document test plans, results, and defect findings with precision and clarity for engineering review.

Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in software testing with deep knowledge of RIP and OSPF.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, static routing, and related routing protocols used in enterprise and carrier networks.
• Ability to validate protocol behavior in Linux and Windows-based test environments.
• Experience with scripting and network test tools to support repeatable protocol testing and verification.
• 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in network protocol testing or software QA.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to TCP/IP stack protocols such as xSTP, IGMP, LLDP, LACP, 802.1X, SNMP, DHCP, OSPFv2, OSPFv3, RIPv2, RIPng, and TSN.

Education:

• B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, or dual degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
