Description

You will design, build, and maintain event-driven, cloud-based distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and implement business features in collaboration with the product owner.
• Meet sprint and quarterly delivery commitments with the development team.
• Develop, run, and maintain production applications.
• Design scalable cloud applications using AWS or Azure.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in distributed system development.
• Expertise in Node.js and Microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using Web Services and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres, including complex query writing and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Competence in frontend development using JavaScript and React.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and exposure to Kubernetes/ECS.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Github Actions.
