Description

You will lead testing efforts across web, client/server, and window applications within the banking and insurance sectors.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete testing life cycle, including requirement analysis, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Maven.
• Perform diverse testing types including smoke, functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and database testing.
• Conduct API testing using SOAP, REST, and Postman.
• Manage test documentation such as execution reports, defect reports, and test summary reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java and core Java concepts for framework development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Experience using Eclipse, Maven, and Fire Path.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and the Bug Life Cycle.
• Expertise in bug tracking using JIRA and Team Foundation Server (TFS 2010).
• Ability to manage automation environments for VMs and maintain their state.
• Experience with API testing protocols including SOAP and REST.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive domain experience in the Insurance and Banking sectors.
