Description

You will design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems for high-throughput, low-latency, event-driven architectures.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Lead Kafka configuration optimization, including topic design and consumer group management.
• Conduct code reviews, drive CI/CD best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues across backend services and Kafka message processing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for building production-grade systems.
• Deep experience with Kafka in high-scale production environments.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Experience leading engineering efforts and setting technical direction.
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend services and data protection.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
