Description

Lead utility operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Somerset, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility utility operations, including Pressure Boilers, Refrigeration Plants, and Power Generation equipment.
• Lead and train engineers and technicians to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to maintain equipment reliability and fitness for use.
• Develop strategies to optimize utility system performance and recommend capital expenditures.
• Ensure all engineering operations adhere to cGMP, EHS, and N.J.S.A 34:1 regulations.

Required Skills

• Valid and current NJ Grade A (Gold Seal) or Grade B (Red Seal) license.
• Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience operating Pressure Boilers, Refrigeration Plants, Power Generation, and HVAC equipment.
• Essential OSHA/IOSH certification.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environments and safety protocols.
• Experience managing utility systems regulated under New Jersey state licenses.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 10+ years of applicable industry experience.
