Description

You will own the creation and maintenance of core automation services within infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Shell, and Ansible to streamline operations and enforce security controls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure deployment of shared services.
• Lead efforts to modernize shared services infrastructure, focusing on automation and observability.
• Perform root cause analysis during on-call rotations and incident response in a 24/7 environment.
• Mentor and coach junior developers on engineering practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
• Proficiency in API development, specifically building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, and secure communication protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and maintaining infrastructure automation platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
