Description

You will lead the development, production, and testing of rocket engine propellant control components.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of valves and actuators from preliminary concepts through the full product life cycle.
• Investigate and resolve hardware and process anomalies using engineering and scientific principles.
• Develop trade studies, design concepts, systems integration, and component-level test plans.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and internal project teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the design, production, and test of electromechanical or fluid control components.
• Technical expertise in fluid mechanics, structural dynamics, electricity, and magnetism.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience developing assembly and test planning and procedures.
• Ability to use CAD and various engineering computer systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Project scheduling and Earned Value Measurement Systems.
