Description

You will lead the development and maintenance of Java and Spring Boot applications in Pune.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications (versions 8–21) and Spring Boot (versions 2 and 3).
• Implement microservices with Apache Kafka, including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.
• Build backend services using Hibernate/JPA, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries and database interactions for performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven or distributed systems.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with Maven or Gradle deployment tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
