Description

You will lead the core infrastructure team to build and maintain Moveworks AI infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evolve infrastructure architecture and foundational services for high reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Architect and build core infrastructure components, including distributed key-value stores, event streaming, and rate limiting.
• Partner with machine learning, search, product, and data teams to define and execute on infrastructure roadmaps.
• Define metrics to measure infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve stack scalability.
• Hire and mentor engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant backend distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience growing and managing a team of 5+ engineers.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
• Experience with containers/Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience operating open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch at scale.
• Proven experience solving for performance, optimization, scalability, and latency.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to influence all organizational levels with complex platform concepts.
