Description

You will manage and maintain core compute infrastructure supporting next-generation product development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the high-performing Compute Farm, including builders, packagers, testers, and core infrastructure.
• Collaborate with system architects, hardware/software engineers, and QA to design, develop, debug, and release products.
• Ensure availability targets are met and lead system recovery efforts across data centers and labs.
• Deploy and qualify systems while supporting new technology bring-ups and overseeing asset lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot Linux/Windows, hardware, and infrastructure issues alongside engineering and operations teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data centers or large engineering labs.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Major or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in scripting using Shell, Python, and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, and SSL.
• Familiarity with SCMs such as GIT/Perforce.
• Hands-on experience with system deployments involving PCBs and GPUs.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Slurm workload manager.
