Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, buildout, and standardization of IDF/MDF rooms, rack elevations, and patch panel layouts across the portfolio.
  • Define and maintain IDF/MDF deployment standards, runbooks, and quality gates while enforcing consistency across sites and markets.
  • Serve as senior technical point of contact for IDF/MDF design reviews, escalations, and operational turnover processes.
  • Lead rack-and-stack installations of network devices including switches and wireless access points in enterprise environments.
  • Plan and execute network migration activities and cutovers according to project plans, schedules, and established runbooks.
  • Direct switch deployment, replacement, connectivity testing, and comprehensive infrastructure validation across multiple sites.
  • Specify, install, configure, and maintain rack Power Distribution Units including metered, switched, and intelligent managed systems.
  • Plan rack power budgets, per-circuit load balancing, and A/B redundancy while coordinating breaker sizing and receptacle types.
  • Manage UPS, ATS, and generator dependencies while monitoring power, branch-circuit metering, and thermal conditions.
  • Oversee structured cabling, patching, labeling, and cable management systems to meet BICSI/ANSI-TIA industry standards.
  • Support wireless, telecom, CCTV, access control, and LAN/WAN infrastructure from planning through operational turnover.
  • Perform and review configuration and verification tasks while leading troubleshooting of connectivity and hardware issues.
  • Own coordination with vendors, carriers, and electrical contractors while leading vendor business reviews and SLA management.
  • Lead bill-of-material creation, purchase order management, equipment tracking, cost estimation, and budgeting processes.
  • Maintain rack elevations, cable schedules, power schedules, drawings, inventories, and comprehensive turnover documentation packages.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and field technicians in IDF/MDF and power best practices.

Experience Required: 5+ years of hands-on experience in network/IDF-MDF infrastructure, migrations, and multi-site deployments with senior/lead responsibility
