Description

You will own the design, buildout, and standardization of IDF/MDF rooms, rack elevations, and patch panel layouts across the enterprise portfolio.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain IDF/MDF deployment standards, runbooks, and quality gates to enforce consistency across sites.
• Lead rack-and-stack installations of network devices, including Cisco switches and wireless access points.
• Plan and execute network migration activities and cutovers according to project plans and established runbooks.
• Specify, install, and configure Power Distribution Units, managing power budgets, load balancing, and redundancy.
• Oversee structured cabling, patching, and labeling to meet industry standards while coordinating with vendors and carriers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network/IDF-MDF infrastructure, migrations, and multi-site deployments.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS, Cisco Switches, and Network Infrastructure management.
• Expertise in IDF/MDF Design, including rack elevations and patch panel layouts.
• Experience with Power Distribution Units, structured cabling, and network migration.
• Ability to install and configure Wireless Access Points in enterprise environments.
• Strong vendor management and technical point-of-contact capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• BICSI/ANSI-TIA standards knowledge and CCNA certification.
• Experience with intelligent PDU/DCIM platforms and enterprise wireless familiarity.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems (CCTV, VoIP) and UPS/ATS management.
