Description

You will lead cybersecurity governance and policy management to protect information systems from unauthorized access or destruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage IT security policies, exception management processes, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and implement tools to proactively monitor and govern the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls.
• Conduct security risk assessments, including third-party vendor reviews and gap analyses.
• Determine and report on key metrics, dashboards, and compliance levels to stakeholders.
• Lead high-complexity projects and mentor junior technical and managerial staff.

Required Skills

• 7 years of progressive experience in Information Security, IT, or Computer Science.
• Direct experience writing, designing, and operating enterprise-level security policies.
• Proficiency in CISSP, GIAC, or CIRT frameworks.
• Experience managing compliance for SOX, PCI, HIPAA, or CJIS.
• Ability to identify and minimize risks across applications, networking, and cloud environments.
• Strong capability in conducting periodic assessments and managing remediation efforts.
• Proven experience in project leadership and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree or currently pursuing a degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
