Description

You will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of high-temperature equipment including furnaces, kilns, ovens, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and scrubber systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and model high-temperature components using computational tools to optimize heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and structural integrity.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for manufacturing and construction.
• Perform risk assessments, failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA), and safety evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, reviewing designs and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Support manufacturing, installation, and commissioning through technical guidance and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the design and analysis of high-temperature equipment.
• Strong proficiency in CAD, FEA, and CFD.
• Expertise in heat transfer modeling, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Deep knowledge of industry codes including ASME, API, and NFPA.
• Proven experience managing complex engineering projects and leading technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
