Description

You will lead the full lifecycle delivery of GIS and software integration projects for utility clients.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to define approaches based on goals, deliverables, budgets, risks, and constraints.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and support project personnel to ensure work stays on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Author change descriptions and support estimation and pricing for client change orders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Seven years of experience in a project management capacity leading IT projects.
• Proven experience managing GIS system implementation and software integration projects, preferably with Esri.
• Experience delivering projects for external clients within the utility sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management standards, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Demonstrated experience in people management, leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to handle strategic planning, risk management, and change management in complex environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client locations up to 75 percent.

Preferred Skills

• Direct project management experience with electric or gas utilities.
• Hands-on experience managing Esri GIS implementations including Esri’s Utility Network.
