Description

You will prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, focusing on large-scale wood-framed builds.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, architectural drawings, and engineering documentation to determine scope.
• Source and verify pricing from vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor.
• Assist Project Managers with schedule development and subcontract buy-outs.
• Collect and organize relevant project data to support estimation accuracy.
• Optimize project costs while strictly adhering to technical requirements and standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience bidding large-scale wood-framed construction projects.
• Proficiency in project costing, budgeting, and estimating methodologies.
• Ability to read and analyze architectural and engineering plans with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building standards.
• Proficiency in Procore, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam software.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
