Description

Design and build scalable data pipelines for real-time and analytical processing on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL processes and data applications in Azure cloud environments.
• Develop specialized data tools and execute ad-hoc queries for business requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, test plans, and data reviews to ensure solution quality.
• Collaborate with the team to apply best practices and elevate technology standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience in data engineering or data management.
• 8-10 years of application development using SQL, PLSQL, Python, and shell scripting.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and building pipelines with ETL/ELT tools.
• Recent experience as a Senior Data Engineer in a public cloud environment, specifically Azure.
• Proficiency with cloud warehouses such as Snowflake or Azure Synapse.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or other SQL databases.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions using DevOps CI/CD tools and containers.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques.
