You will own the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and support high-volume ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage, managing sourcing, transformation, loading, and error handling.
Migrate existing applications to an in-house or custom ETL framework while ensuring data quality and performance.
Enable and support CI/CD pipelines for ETL deployments, preparing deployment artifacts (DSX/ID exports) and release documentation.
Troubleshoot ETL failures, resolve performance bottlenecks, and provide technical guidance for data warehouse processes.
Collaborate with business users, solution architects, and LOB partners to translate requirements into robust ETL solutions within an Agile environment.
Required Skills
IBM DataStage: Strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and supporting complex ETL jobs, stages, metadata, and deployments.
ETL Lifecycle: Deep knowledge of data movement, cleansing, and quality processes across the full ETL spectrum.
High-Volume Data: Proven experience working with large enterprise datasets and applying performance tuning skills to optimize ETL workloads.
System Integration: Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Teradata.
CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience enabling or working within CI/CD pipelines for ETL, with an automation-focused mindset for reliable deployments.
Release Management: Familiarity with release management, deployment documentation, and technical design decisions.
Leadership: Senior-level experience guiding teams on best practices, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in ETL development and data engineering.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Informatica ETL tools.
Strong background in SAP data integration.
Prior experience delivering or supporting new application builds.
