Description

You will own data migration workflows from legacy databases to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from legacy databases to new cloud-based application databases.
• Implement synchronization processes between MDSDB and iQIES data, including facility, survey, incident, and license information.
• Analyze, design, develop, and test data migration workflows in a cloud environment.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• Perform system unit testing, procedure validation, and document all deliverables.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with AWS Glue, Amazon RDS for Oracle, and Oracle.
• 2+ years of active experience working with cloud technology.
• Expert understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Strong ability to solve complex data issues.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS S3 and S3 Glacier.
• Background working within the healthcare industry.
