Description

You will own the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of ETL processes for Finance and Regulatory Reporting functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DataStage Director and Operations Console to ensure smooth execution of daily, monthly, and quarterly ETL workloads.
• Manage job schedules using enterprise scheduling tools and ensure adherence to SLAs for all reporting cycles.
• Provide L2 and L3 support for ETL job failures, including error analysis, root cause investigation, and timely restarts.
• Optimize DataStage jobs using partitioning techniques (Hash, Range, Entire, Auto), buffer tuning, and parallel processing best practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and DBA teams to maintain IBM InfoSphere Information Server platform health and database performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL development and support.
• Deep expertise in IBM DataStage and IBM InfoSphere Information Server.
• Strong proficiency in ANSI SQL compliant queries.
• Experience with Python, Scala, Java, or .NET for ETL extensions or scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and traditional or cloud databases.
• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration and enterprise scheduling tools.
• Ability to debug upstream system defects and downstream application failures.

Preferred Skills

• Banking domain experience in Finance and Regulatory Reporting.
• Familiarity with Huntington Bank enterprise scheduling tools (Zena).
