Description

You will design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica technologies to meet complex business requirements. You will translate detailed specifications into Informatica, IICS, or IDMC ETL process designs. You will analyze, design, develop, test, and document end-to-end ETL processes. You will write and maintain scripts using VB, Shell, or Perl to support ETL workflows. You will conduct unit testing and troubleshooting in QA, SIT, or Production environments to ensure data integrity. You will collaborate within Agile teams including architects, developers, and stakeholders to define technical approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or IDMC.
• Translate detailed business specifications into technical ETL designs.
• Write and maintain VB, Shell, or Perl scripts to support ETL workflows.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting in QA, SIT, or Production environments to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical approaches within Agile frameworks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of ETL development experience in large IT organizations.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• 2+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or IDMC.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Proficiency with scripting languages including VB, Shell, or Perl.
• Experience working in Agile frameworks such as SCRUM or SAFe.
• Familiarity with project management and version control tools like Jira and BitBucket.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
