Description

You will design, develop, and deploy complex data integration solutions using the Talend ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mappings, transformations, sessions, and workflows for data integration.
• Perform data profiling, migration, extraction, transformation, and loading using ETL methodologies.
• Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models within multi-application environments.
• Identify and document data integration issues including duplicate, non-conformed, or unclean data.
• Tune ETL process performance and troubleshoot critical technical elements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL, Data Management, or Data Integration.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer specifically using Talend.
• Expertise in Talend modules: TAC, TMC, Data Integration, Data Quality, ESB, API Design and Services, and Big Data Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration in cloud environments and Talend Admin Console (TAC).
• Experience using Talend Cloud Management Console (TMC) Public API for external system management.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including accessing Amazon S3.
• Experience with Spark design and development using Scala, Java, Python, or Data Frames with RDDs.
• Development experience with databases including Oracle, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, Postgres, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Experience working within Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Strategic or management consulting experience.
• Professional hands-on experience with Python.
