Description

Own ETL and data pipeline testing, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and validation across extraction, transformation, and load processes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Validate data accuracy and schema conformance between source and target systems.
• Implement automated checks to monitor pipeline health, performance, and error handling.
• Build, scale, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Python and Pytest.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Perform UI automation and API testing for comprehensive cross-layer coverage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL and data pipeline testing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest or equivalent test frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and debugging data.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with UI automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Newman.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure services for test environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL API testing.
• Background in contract testing for microservices.
