Description

Lead testing of ETL processes and Data Warehouse components within large-scale database systems. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases based on business requirements and ETL design documents.
• Perform backend data-driven tests to validate data continuity and integrity from migrated ETL jobs.
• Analyze ETL mapping documents to design test plans and generate corresponding SQL scripts.
• Identify ETL transaction issues, collaborate with DBAs on remediation strategies, and track defects.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics including defect counts, test results, and test status.

Required Skills

• 5+ years testing backend applications with a focus on complex SQL queries.
• Expertise in SQL programming and querying large volumes (terabytes) of health data (medical, dental, or pharmacy claims).
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Talend Data Fabric and IBM DataStage.
• Experience with Agile Software Development and testing in cloud environments, specifically MS Azure.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, database architecture, data models, and ER diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
