Description

Lead ETL and database development for the Enterprise Data Warehouse within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Autonomous Data Warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using ODI to move data from various sources to target warehouses.
• Develop physical data models and create testing approaches, plans, and documentation of results.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications for the data warehouse.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and monitor the EDW to respond to incidents.
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage while supporting the Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling Framework.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of verifiable experience in database design, development, and warehouse architecture within an Oracle environment.
• 5+ years of experience performing ETL development activities.
• 2+ years of recent experience performing ETL development in an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle GoldenGate.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience managing Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) services.
• Ability to perform technical leadership including data modeling, requirements solicitation, and data warehouse administration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
• Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2021, Oracle Machine Learning, or OCI Architect Professional certifications.
