Description

You will own plant finance operations, focusing on cost reporting, inventory control, and internal compliance within a manufacturing environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Report plant variable costs, fixed overheads, and KPIs while performing variance analysis against previous years and budgets.
• Manage inventory through physical stock takes, book reconciliation, and collaboration with business teams to optimize stock levels.
• Drive cost optimization projects for variable and fixed expenses and conduct post-investment analysis.
• Oversee fixed assets including CWIP reviews, tagging, physical verification, and ensure internal control process audits and ICRF compliance.
• Collaborate with the central finance team on general accounting, payables, and accounts hygiene, while supporting GST compliance with the indirect tax team.

Required Skills

• CMA certification or equivalent qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in a Plant Finance role for end-to-end execution of finance and controlling deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of Financial and Manufacturing Accounting principles.
• Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards.
• Experience conducting process audits and managing internal controls.
• Ability to report on plant variable costs and fixed overheads.
• General Accounting experience including payables and accounts hygiene.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with a result-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with central finance teams on process improvements.
• Good interpersonal skills for commercial support across plant functions.
